Financial Education

According to the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), financial education is the process by which individuals and society improve their understanding regarding financial concepts and products in order to, with information, training and guidance, be able to develop the values and skills needed to become more aware of the opportunities and risks involved in them, and to be able to make correct choices, to know where to seek help and take other actions to improve their welfare. Thus, it can contribute more consistently to the formation of responsible, future-committed individuals and societies.
